Very comfortable and the room was well above what we expected. It was cleaned to a high standard every day. The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel Afro my friends and "I will be back" thank you

Friendly staff. Room a bit noisy with nearby botellón. Great location, good bathroom. I will go back.

Great location, clean rooms, very nice updated bathrooms, and super friendly front desk staff. Only downside is the room was a bit smaller than I prefer. Especially, if you are conducting conference calls and using the desk. Otherwise, if was very good. Will book again when travel takes me to Madrid.

My experience at this hotel was more than positive. The staff spoke English with my mom who valued their advice and help with booking activities and making suggestions. The room was very clean and comfortable. The twin beds are a little small but I got used to it by the second night. I was worried about the potential noise from the street at night but it was not a problem. The restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. One night the chef made a custom salad for us that was delicious. The location was a nice escape from the Gran Via and yet still close to everything. I would stay here again.

Good location. Value for money in off-season. Spacious bathroom. Better than average breakfast. Street noise on weekend. Excellent front desk staff.

Found the hotel to be friendly, efficient staff, ideally situated and good restaurant and breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The hotel was exactly what we expected, good location, friendly staff, clean and tidy. If things could have been better, they were, Tea's and coffee in the room, more English speaking channels on the TV and being able to control the room tempreture more easily, otherwise we could'nt fault the hotel.

Second visit to this hotel and would not hesitate to book again. We booked 2 rooms, one double and one twin and have to say that the twin was a larger room and had tea and coffee making facilities, the double did not, that said the buffet breakfast was excellent. The location is great if you are looking for a central hotel surrounded by great local hospiyality with an authentic atmosphere. The staff in reception went the extra mile when we spoke with them and took time to advise on local transport etc, we celebrated a birthday whilst staying at the hotel and we received a bottle of fizz in our room without any prompt, they had simply noted when our passports were reviewed on check in........would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Excellent Location, very helpful staff, food in restaurant superb. Beds a bit on the hard side, funny smell in one room.

This hotel is in an excellent location. Staff are well informed and speak good english. The rooms are clean and spacious with good size bathrooms. A good choice for getting out and about in Madrid. The restaurant was also very good.
